Rhys has a diverse professional background to lean upon, allowing for a uniquely comprehensive approach and understanding of the projects he now takes on.

Rhys was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2021, after retailoring his skill-set to be more specifically legally focused, but has tangible professional experience in many areas of the tech sector, hospitality trade, and travel industry whilst also having worked within and alongside charitable organisations as well.

Having started his career in the business development and marketing aspect of cloud technology back in 2013, he has kept a keen and sharp understanding of the state and position of both digital markets and the cyber industry more generally, recently moving this specific cyber-focus towards the rise of, and issues concerning Artificial Intelligence. From how it is evolving from its simple origins to be the driving force in shaping the future of both life and business and the new challenges this will bring.

Rhys has also sat alongside C-Suite members of new and emerging tech start-ups from the UK to Australia as they seek to create and drive forward a coherent plan of attack for their entrance to the market, technical product development and attracting potential would-be investors.

Rhys joined Sterling IP in 2023, and is now expanding upon these qualifications with further dedicated handling of additional IP matters to better meet the needs of the savvy 21st century client.
